Covid-19: Current information on the entry from Bahrain to the Czech Republic

As of 18th October 2021 the Kingdom of Bahrain was included by the Czech Republic in the list of countries with a low risk of Covid-19 (so-called green countries), in accordance with the current protective measure issued by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic the following applies:

Before entering the Czech Republic from the Kingdom of Bahrain, it is necessary to:

     - submit a filled arrival form

     -  present a PCR test result (not older 72 hours)

The obligation to perform a PCR test does not apply to

    - vaccinated persons* who have been given a booster dose

    - children up to the age of 12

    - children from 12 years of age to the age of 18 who are vaccinated persons*

The Bahraini vaccination certificate is recognized in the Czech Republic  only with the vaccines of Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson, AstraZeneca/Oxford and Covishield 

The obligation to fill in the arrival form also applies to fully vaccinated persons.

Current protective measures can be found on the website of the Ministry of Health, including a list of recognized vaccination certificates and a list of countries with a low to very high risk of disease.

*Vaccinated person is a holder of a national certificate of the Czech Republic/EU on completed vaccination (at least 14 days have elapsed since the application of the last dose, but not more than 9 months) or a national certificate of a third country, which is listed on the website of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic
