The meeting was to discuss the Czech High-Speed Railway (HSR) project and cooperation in the field of transport infrastructure. Minister Won proposed the formation and operation of a working group to share Korea's technical and operational experience in the HSR project in Czechia. Minister Kupka thanked his counterpart's proposal, by saying, "I hope the Korean government shares various experiences on public and private investment in infrastructure requiring large-scale financing, such as high-speed rail."

Czechia and Korea have laid the foundation for partnership in the field of railways and transport through the signing of two MOUs in 2015 and 2016. We hope that the construction of a working group will lead to visible progress in bilateral cooperation in the field.
