The interview is a part of The Diplomat series and took place at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Seoul. The Ambassador emphasized the very good relations that exist between the two countries. He mentioned the historic visits of Czech highest representatives but also economic cooperation, including South Korean investments in the Czech Republic.

The audience was also introduced to the logo, which symbolizes the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Czech and Korean Republic. Both countries called 2020 a "year of mutual exchange", but due to the situation associated with COVID-19, many celebrations and projects related to this anniversary had to be canceled. The Ambassador also mentioned the cooperation of both countries during the pandemic, for example, the involvement of Korean Air in the repatriation process of Czech citizens from Australia and New Zealand.

At the end of the interview, the Ambassador presented the existing projects - in addition to deepening cooperation in all sectors, it is a matter of supporting possible Czech investments in the Republic of Korea and planned bilateral visits to Seoul in the 2^nd half of this year.
