In July 2015, a new Czech Pub opened in Gwangju, located in the south of Korea. The restaurant is called 'Czech Praha' selling only Czech beers and liquor, such as Czech Royal Beer and Becherovka. This is the first Czech pub in Gwangju.
The quality of Czech beer in the Republic of Korea is highly valued, as evidenced by the increasing exports of Czech beer as well as a growing interest in Czech restaurants, which are mainly located in the capital; Seoul.
