Czech participation a the 4th China International Import Expo

4th China International Import Expo (CIIE) took place in Shanghai from 5 to 10 November. Same as every year, many Czech companies did not miss this opportunity to show case their products.

Due to the limitations associated with the Covid-19 pandemic, the national exhibitions this year moved to the online space, where the Czech Republic also presented itself with a national pavilion.

On site, Czech companies were present in a 90 m2 Czech pavilion in Hall 5.1. pavilion C5-05. Under this year's "Czech Home" concept, a total of 10 premium brands of Czech design and home furnishings were presented and offered visitors beauty and comfort for the whole family. The following companies showcased their products: Aleš Zvěřina AZ Design, Grund, Jiří Pačinek, Petrof, Preciosa, Ravak, Rückl, Ševčík, Tescoma, Ton. On a smaller scale, products from the following brands were displaze: Crystal Bohemia, Granát Turnov, Halama, KOH-I-NOOR, Škoda, Preciosa beauty, Becherovka, Budějovický Budvar, Green Tree Distillery, Lahofer, Pilsner Urquell, R. Jelínek.

Karel Šrol, Consul General of the Czech Republic to Shanghai and Commercial Consul Lukáš Svatek supported Czech companies on 6 November by participating in the grand opening of the Czech pavilion. Mr. Karel Šrol thanked the Czech companies for spreading the good name of the Czech Republic in China and wished them many successes not only at this year's CIIE, but also during their future operations in China. After visiting the Czech pavilion, Mr. Consul General paid a visit to other Czech brands represented at this year's CIIE:

Eleonora and Kanpura Bohemia Crystal – 140m2 pavilion in hall 5.1.

AZ Design, Jiří Pačinek, Luxury Gold, Šenýr Bijou - 54m2 pavilion in hall 5.1.

Crystal Bohemia and on a smaller scale Bohemia Jihlava, Halama, Kavalier, Marlenka, PMS Přerov - 18m2 pavilion in hall 5.2.

Pilsner Urquell – 36m2 as part of the Asahi pavilion in hall 1.2


According to official statistics, more than 2,900 companies from 127 countries and regions participated in this year's CIIE and the expo was visited by 480,000 visitors, ie 20% more than last year.
