Opening of FIND - Design Fair Asia 2022

FIND - Design Fair Asia 2022 builds on the illustrious tradition of the design fairs in London and Milan and presents the latest trends in contemporary (especially interior) design in the region, in particular innovative and inspiring products and holistic solutions. Located at the Marina Bay Sands Expo Building, itself a major design architectural feature of Singapore's central business district, the fair attracted thousands of visitors from the public as well as architects, designers and artists. The Embassy of the Czech Republic in Singapore held an opening ceremony at the Czech pavilion, which was attended by representatives of the organiser of the fair as well as representatives of the art and design scene in Singapore. The participants were welcomed by Ambassador Michaela Froňková and Singapore's Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Mr Tan Soo Khoon.
The Czech pavilion was established with the support of CzechTrade and the individual companies that exhibited their best design products: Petrof, Ladislav Ševčík Bohemia Crystal, Robert Halama Czech Art Crystal, Elite Bohemia, Hunat Glass, UBRD, Silent Lab. In addition, Petrof organized a performance of the duo of brothers-artists Maxim and Karel Havlíček for the whole 3 days of the fair. While the painter Maxim Havlíček was creatinh a painting on canvas directly in the pavilion area, the composer and musician Karel Havlíček played on the piano Petrof compositions mainly of his own production.
