COVID19: Entering the territory of the Czech Republic

Starting 4th October 2021 Singapore moved to the "very high risk" category of countries and there are restrictions in place that travellers need to comply with before and after entering the territory of the Czech Republic. These extraordinary measures are established due to the COVID19 pandemic.

WARNING: Only fully vaccinated people travelling from Singapore can enter the Czech Republic for any reason. Details below

Since 4th October, unvaccinated travellers from Singapore cannot enter the territory of the Czech Republic for any reason if they do not hold a residency or long-term visa. Fully vaccinated travellers can enter for any reason if they comply with standard immigration conditions.

If travelling to Czechia from Singapore via a 3rd country with a transit longer than 12 hours, you need to comply with entry requirements applicable for this 3rd country (see annexes for more information).

Definition of a fully vaccinated person:

Also, persons who had first positive PCR test in the 180 days can travel to Czechia, but need an EU Digitalpass certifying this.

Requirements to comply with before, during and after travelling:

  1. Before entry, register using the Passanger Locator Form (there is no approval process, you can enter at any moment after the registration)
  2. At the border control, show negative test for COVID19 (This does not apply for fully vaccinated people, as specified above)
    1. antigen test must not be older than 48h before border crossing
    2. RT-PCR test must not be older than 72h before border crossing
  3. Self-isolate in your residence/place of stay (This does not apply for fully vaccinated people, as specified above)
  4. On the 5th day after entry or later take PCR test in any Czech accredited lab (This does not apply for fully vaccinated people, as specified above)
  5. After you receive negative result for the PCR test you are free to stop self-isolation (This does not apply for fully vaccinated people, as specified above)
