Days of Czech Culture and Diplomatic Charity Bazaar

From May 28 to June 2 the Days of Czech Culture will take place. The events are organized and by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Skopje in cooperation with the Czech Center in Sofia.
The days of Czech culture will begin with the days of the Czech cuisine in the restaurant "Pelister" from 28.5.19 to 2.6.19. The visitors may try not only the Czech gastronomic specialities, but also Czech drafted beer.
In order to tell the story of the Czech comic that is currently passing through its "golden age" and its course after 100 years of independence of the Czech Republic (or Czechoslovakia), as an inseparable part of the Czech cultural landscape, an exhibition of the Czech comic will be organized on 29.5.19 at 6 pm at the EU InfoCentre. The film "Four Murders Are Enough, Darling" will be screened at 7 pm after the opening of the exhibition in the EU Info Center. The animated scenes are the work of the Czech comic strip artist or "the king of the Czech comic" Kaya Saudek.
Vladivojna La Chia Czech singer, songwriter, composer and artist will perform at the Woodstock club on 31.5.19 and certainly in the same club you can taste a large selection of Czech beers.
This year, the Czech Ambassador H.E. Miroslav Toman, Embassy of the Czech Republic in Skopje, has an honorary presidency of the Diplomatic Charity Bazaar will be held on 1.6.19 at 11 am in the GTC. The purpose of this charity bazaar is to raise funds and to give them to the people most in need, ie children. This year, more than 20 embassies and honorary consulates will take part. The funds will be donated for humanitarian purposes, as well as the funds from paintings of the children that were drawn under the supervision of the artist Burhan Ahmeti. The best paintings by children and artist Burhan Ahmeti will also be sold at the Diplomatic Charity Concert at the Macedonian Philharmonic. This is organized by our Embassy in cooperation with the non-governmental organization ADI. The Diplomatic Charity Bazaar will be complemented with the music of the Czech singer Vladivojna La Chia, and for the youngest there will be a projection of the Czech animated film for children "Ferdy the Ant".
