Exhibition „Czechoslovak statehood“ at the Museum of the Macedonian Struggle for Freedom

On October 29, 2018, the exhibition "Czechoslovak Statehood" was officially opened as part of the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia. Some 60 Czechs and friends of the Czech Republic attended the event.
The exhibition "Czechoslovak Statehood 1918", summarizes the basic facts about the circumstances and the course of the founding of Czechoslovakia, presents its main protagonists - TGM, E. Beneš and M.R. Štefánik and explains the important role of Czechoslovak legions. The exhibition describes the period of the First Republic (1918-1938), its economy, culture and foreign policy. The last panel "What the Czechs and Slovaks gave to the world" presents a selection of the most significant Czech discoveries, personalities as well as cultural phenomena.
