Exhibition of donated paintings from Czechoslovakia in the Museum of Modern Art

On October 30, 2018, the exhibition "Donated artworks from Czechoslovakia" was launched as part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of Czechoslovakia. The Minister of Culture of the Republic of Macedonia, Asaf Ademi, also attended the opening ceremony.
 

The preparation of the exhibition was financially supported by the Embassy of the Czech Republic, the Czech Center in Sofia and the Embassy of the Slovak Republic.

The exhibited artworks consist of a collection of 265 artworks of 92 Czechoslovak artists donated in solidarity gesture after the devastating earthquake that took place in Skopje in 1963. Among the exhibited deeds are the works of Emil Filla, Jan Zrzavý, Adolf Hofmeister, Rudolf Krivoš or Čestmír Kafka. The exhibition "Donated artworks from Czechoslovakia" is at the Museum of Modern Art in Skopje until the end of December 2018.
