Start of Twinning Project Aimed at the Adapting of Macedonian Metrology to European Norms

On 8.3.2017 Ambassador Miroslav Rames officially opened at the permises of the Bureau of Metrology in Skopje the introductory session of the twinning “light” project “Strengthening the Capacities of the Bureau of Metrology for Internal Market Integration” financed by the European Union IPA II program.

The Czech Metrology Institute (CMI) is the implementer of the project at the amount of about 250,000 euro, whose goal is to help the Macedonian party to implement within six months almost 400 EU technical directives and more than 20,000 technical standards.

After the presentation of the project by the Expert Director and the Chief Officer of CMI Jiří Tesař and the project manager Josef Úlehla, accompanied by the director of the Bureau of Metrology Dimitar Parnadjiev, had an opportunity to get acquainted with the equipment of specific underground laboratories of this institution.
