New Czech investments in the IT sector

On January 20, 2021, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic Miroslav Toman together with the Prime Minister of North Macedonia Zoran Zaev emphasized at a press conference the benefits of new Czech investments in the IT sector in North Macedonia.
 

ARICOMA group a part of the Czech KKCG group, founded by Karel Komárek. KKCG is a private multinational financial and investment group founded in 1995 with branches in Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Great Britain and the USA with a total capital of seven billion euros and an income of five billion euros and 6,000 employees in 22 countries.

The investment was welcomed by the Ambassador Miroslav Toman, who also stressed the importance of individual investors for the development of trade and overall bilateral relations between the two countries. The Ambassador pointed out the Czech Republic continued the support and the potential for deepening economic cooperation in several areas.

Prime Minister Zaev also welcomed this investment as a basis for further growth of successful Macedonian companies in order to increase employment, development of IT professionals and an incentive for further growth of the sector, which significantly contributes to the country's economic development. He also called on Czech companies to apply for tenders, which North Macedonia is announcing.
