Re-Opening visa services to public

(This article expired 01.09.2021 / 14:51.)

As of June 21, 2021, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Skopje has resumed provision of visa services to the citizens of the Republic of North Macedonia.

It is still not possible to submit visa and residence permit applications of citizens from third countries (Republic of Kosovo) that are not on the list of countries with a low risk of infection with the exceptions listed in the Protective Measures of the Ministry of Health since June 16, 2021. For these citizens, the visa and residence permit applications will be further available only in a limited amount - a list of applications is available on the following link, Section III.

We therefore ask for applicants´ cooperation in observing hygienic rules. During the visit of the Consulate, applicants will be required to use hand disinfection, wear face masks and maintain at least 2 meter distance. The number of persons who can simultaneously enter the consulate premises will be limited.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs aims to enable arrival of those foreign nationals who need visas to stay in the Czech Republic. However, at the same time, it will not be possible to accommodate all applicants, that would have an interest to apply. While observing the preventive hygienic measures, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Skopje currently can accept 20 visa or long-term residence applications per week.
