It is a pleasure to invite you to the PIARC XXVIIth World Road Congress that will take place in Prague, Czech Republic. The Congress will take place at the Convention Centre from 2–6 October 2023. The theme of the Congress is “Prague 2023 – Together on the road again”. An apt theme given that the pandemic has kept people and nations apart for far too long.
The World Road Congress returns to Prague after 52 years, when it was held here for the first time. The Congress is held within the World Road Association (PIARC) every four years. PIARC is based in Paris and currently has nearly 3,000 members from 142 countries. The Congress represents the largest international transport event of 2023, and an event of this scale has never been held in the history of transport in the country itself.
