Notice of change in conditions for entry into the Czech Republic for foreigners

The Embassy draws attention to the change in conditions for entry into the Czech Republic for foreigners as of 5 April 2020 pursuant to the Communication of the Ministry of the Interior, which stipulates the conditions required for crossing the state border of the Czech Republic, valid from 31 March 2020 from 00:00 to 12 April 2020.
The possibility of entering the Czech Republic with documents other than the Certificate of Temporary Residence in the Czech Republic or Permanent Residence Permit in the Czech Republic expires on 5 April 2020.
Foreigners wishing to come to the Czech Republic because they have a place of residence, work or school are advised to arrive as soon as possible. This measure aimed at the return of EU citizens living here is limited in time, because it is intended to be a one-time return of EU citizens living in the Czech Republic.
