From Bulgaria to the Czech Republic without PCR test

(This article expired 02.02.2021 / 09:30.)

NEWLY as of January 11th, 2021 for the citizens of the Czech Republic and the foreigners, traveling from Bulgaria, there are in force the same rules as before the COVID-19 pandemy. This means that they do not have to fill the Public health passenger locator form nor do they have to present PCR test when entering the Czech Republic.

The reason is that the Czech Republic newly put Bulgaria into the list of the „orange countries“ – countries with a low risk of transmission of COVID-19.

In case you are a foreigner working or studding in Czech Republic, you still have to submit a PCR test result to your employer or educational institution.

The Crisis Measure from 18. 12. 2020 restricting free movement of persons in the territory of the Czech Republic is in force.
