Czech beers attracted attention in Sweden

Five Czech breweries presented their excellent traditional and modern beers at the "Czech Beer Festival in Stockholm", which took place from 4 to 7, October 2021.

Thanks to marketing activities in support of economic diplomacy, leading Czech craft breweries presented themselves in Stockholm – Břevnov Monastery Brewery, Albrecht, Clock andKocour, intentionally completed by the participation of the national company Budějovický Budvar, which helps smaller Czech breweries enter foreign markets. 

The promotional campaign conducted during the month of September on specialized portals on 4–7 July, October 2021 was followed by a presentation event. This took place in two restaurants in Stockholm in Bar Central and Soldaten Švejk, during which representatives of the participating Czech breweries introduced to the Swedish experts and public to more than 15 types of traditional and modern Czech beers. In the B2B segment, the presentation attracted the attention of both the retail chain of Systembolaget AB as well as representatives of importers and the media. The participating breweries and their products were presented by the well-known expert Jan-Erik Svensson. 

Czech Beer Days enhanced the possibilities of establishing new export cooperation and at the same time contributed to building awareness and credibility of the established Czech beer brand on the Swedish market. The event was prepared by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Stockholm in cooperation with the CzechTourism agency in Stockholm and the Czech Association of Mini-Breweries. The main financing institution was the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic.
