During the first day of a two-day business mission of Czech innovative companies to Sweden, a business seminar was held, which was opened by the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament Markéta Pekarová Adamová, who confirmed the Czech Republic's interest in strengthening cooperation with Sweden and building partnerships between Czech and Swedish companies in innovative sectors. Subsequently, representatives of the Czech companies ASIO NEW, DEVINN, Agdata, Unicorn and LIFETECH presented Czech solutions for water and air purification and treatment, electromobility, hydrogen charging stations and intelligent ICT systems to Swedish partners. At the end of the event, networking and B2B negotiations with Swedish partners took place, and in the evening, representatives of the Czech companies attended a reception at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Stockholm.

On the second day of the mission, representatives of the Czech companies met with Swedish Incubators & Science Parks, an industrial association for incubators and science parks, which unites 5,000 companies, as well as with the Swedish innovation agency Vinnova. During these meetings, the Czech participants learned about the possibilities of using the unique innovative Swedish ecosystem, which effectively connects Swedish universities, companies and public organizations with customers and end markets.

The organisers of the project, which took place within the framework of projects in support of economic diplomacy, were the Embassy of the Czech Republic and the CzechTrade agency. The main financing institution was the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. Czech Innovation Day has boosted the reputation of the Czech innovative industry in Sweden and supported the chances of Czech companies in the areas of green technologies, e-mobility and hydrogen technologies to succeed in the prestigious Swedish market.
