A total of 12 Czech companies presented themselves at the largest Scandinavian engineering fair, Elmia Subcontractor, which took place from 8 to 12 November 2021,  in Jönköping, Sweden. The Czech Republic presented itself in two stands under the brand "Czech Republic the Country for the Future" on a total area of ​​more than 130 m2, within the official participation of the Czech Republic organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and in the CzechTrade stand. The participating companies were supported in the negotiations by the Deputy Head of Mission of the Czech Embassy in Stockholm Martin Bašta, the Director of CzechTrade Scandinavia Tomáš Rousek and the Executive Director of the Association of Foundries of the Czech Republic Josef Hlavinka.

During the fair, Czech representatives presented their production, which in addition to standard engineering components also includes selected top technologies from the fields of advanced engineering and advanced manufacturing, such as 3D metal printing technology, plastic metal injection and powder metallurgy. At the fair, Czech engineering companies presented their products, whose production is either already heading or has the potential to be used on the demanding Swedish market. These were Advanced Metal Powders s.r.o., AWELD spol. s r.o., BENEŠ and LÁT a.s., Evektor, spol. s r.o., HESTEGO a.s., HTP s.r.o., HYDAC Group, KSK Precise Motion, a.s., MS ProTech s.r.o., ZETOR KOVÁRNA, s.r.o. and more.

The Czech participation at the Elmia Subcontractor trade fair has boosted the good name of the Czech engineering industry in Sweden, resp. in the region of the whole of Northern Europe and significantly supported the chances of Czech engineering companies to succeed on the Swedish market.
