The visa fee currency for the most frequently issued visa at the Embassy of the Czech republic in Stockolm stated below is EUR and CZK. We collect fees in SEK in accordance with the exchange rate applicable for the relevant month. The fee is paid in cash for the submission of the application and not for the issue of the visa!

Basic fees:

- visa for a stay up to 90 days – type C (Schengen visa with the period of stay up to 3 month): 60 EUR

- visa for a stay over 90 days – type D: 2,500 CZK

- residence permit: 500 CZK

Note:

1. Family members of a citizen of a Member State of the European Union or of a state which is bound by the Treaty on the European Economic Area or of a state bound by an international treaty with the European Communities, notwithstanding their nationality are exempt from the fee.
2. Persons under 6 years of age are exempt from the fee.
3. Acceptance of an application to issue a visa in diplomatic, service, official and special passports is exempt from the fee.
4. Pupils, students, postgraduate students and accompanying teachers on journeys for the purpose of study or professional training in education are exempt from payment of fees.
5. Researchers travelling within the Community for the purpose of carrying out scientific research are exempt from fees in accordance with the Recommendation No. 2005/761/ES of the European Parliament and the Council of 28 September 2005 to facilitate the issue of short-stay visas for researchers from third countries travelling within the Community for the purpose of carrying out scientific research.
