Date: 10 June 2023 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Venue: Vintervikens Trädgårdskafé, Vinterviksvägen 30, 117 65 Stockholm

On Saturday, 10 June 2023, the Czech Centre Stockholm and its partners are organizing a half-day event focusing on new trends and approaches to food waste. Visitors can gain new insights from Czech and Swedish experts who will share their experiences in the form of workshops, interviews, and a final panel discussion.

Save the Food and Zero Waste Stockholm will lead the workshops, which are among the main promoters of sustainability in their home countries. Anna Strejcová from Save the Food, Filip Lundin from Sopköket, Niclas Tunebro from Crumbs beer and Zero Waste Stockholm will take part in the talks.

Selected topics:

  • Food storage and processing
  • Extending the shelf life of food
  • Cooking with food scraps and waste
  • Distributing unused food

In addition to gaining practical information and ideas for use in the home, attendees will try out different recipes and techniques, the results of which they can take home with them. During the visit, we highly recommend everyone to take the opportunity to enjoy refreshments at a local café.
