Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event took place in digital space. The main theme of Czech participation was the famous Prague writer Franz Kafka and Kulturnatten metamorphosed into Kafkanatten on the Instagram and Facebook pages of the Czech Centre Stockholm. The famous author Jiří Slíva presented his exhibition of illustrations inspired by Franz Kafka. During a webinar titled "Franz Kafka Without Myths", the renowned expert Judita Matyášová answered many Kafka-related questions. The audience was interested also in the presentation of the VRwandlung project by Mika Johnson and his team: the project transfers the famous Kafka´s Metamorphosis into virtual reality.

The digital Kafkanatten had, also thanks to cooperation with the Goethe Institute in Stockholm, thousands of views.
