During the lunch organized by the governor of the Örebro county Maria Larsson and during the meeting with Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University Anna-Karin Andershed, they discussed a series of events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Velvet Revolution in Czechoslovakia to be held under the title Democracy in Action in the summer and autumn of this year. The series of installations, exhibitions and lectures will deal not only with history - it will address threats European democracies face today. The meetings were also attended by the president of the city council and researcher in democracy issues Agneta Blom, CEO of Komuninvest Tomas Werngren, senior adviser to the governor Sten Renglin, curators Lars Jonnson and Giovanna Aguirre, and by the former Deputy Ambassador of Sweden to Czechia Niklas Bennwik.
