Ambassador Jiří Šitler addressed the MPs with a short overview of the history of Czech-Swedish relations. The highlight of the evening was a lecture by the Swedish beer expert Jan-Erik Svensson, who presented traditions of Czech brewmaking. His lecture was accompanied by tasting of high quality products of Czech breweries and traditional Czech open sandwiches (chlebíčky). The meeting was joined also by the First Deputy Speaker of the Riksdag Åsa Lindestam.
