The formal part of the evening began with speeches by the EU Ambassador in Australia H.E. Mr Gabriele Visentin, and the CEO of Investment NSW, Katie Knight, who shared their insights into building a more sustainable future with those present; made up of members of the NSW Consular Corps and representatives of both public institutions as well as local and international organisations.

This was followed by a reception, during which guests had the opportunity to continue informal discussions about opportunities for further deepening collaboration between the EU and Australia in the transition to renewable sources of energy.
