Official opening of the exhibition "Czechs and Slovaks in Brodie Helmets" in the Czechoslovakian Club in Brisbane on the occasion of the National Day of the Czech Republic.

On 28. 10. 2022, the Consul-General of the Czech Republic in Sydney Zuzana Slováková, took part in the official opening of the „Czechs and Slovaks in Brodie Helmets“ exhibition at the Czechoslovakian Club in Brisbane on the occasion of the National Day of the Czech Republic.

The exhibition, which focuses on the cooperation between the Czechoslovak and Australian armed forces during the Siege of Tobruk – a significant battle of World War II – was officially opened after speeches from the Consul Gerneral of the Czech Republic in Sydney Zuzana Slováková and Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Brisbane Francis Carroll.

The exhibition itself was first displayed in the Centre for European Studies at the Australian National University, and following the exhibition at the Czechoslovak Club in Brisbane, is now available to view at the office of the Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Coolum.
