Official opening of the newly renovated "Bohemian Tavern“ at Sokol Melbourne and gathering with members of the Czech community.

On 6th November, 2022 the "Bohemian Tavern" was officially opened on the newly renovated first floor of Sokol Melbourne with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic as part of the program providing financial gifts to Czech associations and compatriots living abroad.

The Consul-General of the Czech Republic in Sydney Zuzana Slováková and the Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic in Melbourne Lenka Allen took part in the official opening. Following their initial speeches, the „Bohemian Tavern“ was officially opened with a ceremonial cutting of the ribbon. 

Around 200 guests from both the Czech community and the wider public attended the opening of the newly renovated tavern.
