The Consul-General of the Czech Republic in Sydney Zuzana Slováková and the Deputy Consul-General Hana Landová took part in an event organised by the Ukranian community in Sydney to pay respects to those who have fallen victim during the war, support the Ukranian people’s resistance efforts and to thank all those, who are providing aid to the Ukraine.

The event took place on 24. 2. 2023, on the eve of the day marking 365 days since Russia invaded the Ukraine. After gathering at Martin Place, the march continued on to St Mary’s Cathedral Square, where those gathered prayed for peace and took part in a candlelight mass.
