The Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Sydney joins the UN Campaign “Orange the World”, whose goal is to eliminate violence against women.

Staff at the Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Sydney, dressed symbolically in the campaign colours, joined the global campaign organised by the UN “Orange the World”. The goal of the campaign is to eliminate violence against women.

The annual international campaign involves 16 days of activism against gender-based violence. According to the UN, one in three women or girls in the world experience violence. The international campaign begins on International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on 25 November and runs until Human Rights Day on 10 December.
