The European Commission announced on 21 December 2021 that Taiwan's digital COVID-19 certificates are accepted as an equivalent to the EU Digital COVID Certificate. The Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic complies with the EC recommendation.

Vaccination in the Czech Republic

Foreign nationals who are directly insured within the public health insurance system in the Czech Republic can now register for vaccination using the policyholder number which they obtain from their Czech health insurance company.

A person not insured within the public health insurance system of the Czech Republic or other EU member states can be vaccinated if he/she is:

- A citizen of the Czech Republic, or

- A foreigner (from the EU or a third country) who is permitted to stay in the Czech Republic for more than 90 days.
