Ambassador Kral visited Pirita Majandusgümnaasium

On the Wednesday 29th March Ambassador David Král visited the Pirita School of Economics in Tallinn. As in the past, the event for high school students was held in cooperation with the Diplomatic Relations Project, an NGO.

This time the Ambassador and his team went to the outskirts of Tallinn, to Pirita. At the Pirita Majandusgümnaasium, an economics high school, the Ambassador presented interesting facts about the Czech Republic in a presentation entitled "Czechia - Heart of Europe" after an introductory meeting with representatives of both the school and the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Czech presentation included, as in other cases, a crash course in the Czech language or a comparison of the geographical conditions of the two countries - and finally a reminder that the two countries have very good relations and are linked by their historical experience of occupations.

Pirita Grammar School was founded in 1948, is now one of the leading Estonian secondary schools and is involved in many international projects, such as Comenius.
