Constitutional Committee of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic in the Estonia

On 10th to 12th of June 2015 a delegation of Constitutional Committee of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic paid a visit to Estonia. The committee was led by its chairman J. Tejc, who was accompanied by the members P. Golasowská, R. Vondráček and M. Benda.
Main topics of the talks included a detailed discussion about the organization of the court system in Estonia, about the e-governance, experiences in electronic voting in parliamentary elections and about the communication systems used by the Estonian Police.
The Delegation was welcomed by the Chairman of the Constitutional Committee of the Estonian Parliament K. Laanet and its members M. Nutt, M. Kukk, A. Sepp and M. Stalnuhhin. The Czech members of Parliament also met the Deputy Secretary General for the Judicial Administration Policy at the Ministry of Justice M. Aavik, Deputy Ombudsman N. Parrest and Deputy Director General of the Police and Border Guard Board J. Kaasik. Also they visited the e-Estonia Showroom for information and communication technologies, in which the Estonian government is a true example of a mutual cooperation and interconnectivity of its electronic systems and databases.
