On the 23rd and 24th of April, Conference of Speakers of the European Union Parliaments was held in Tallinn. Representatives from EU member states were also joined by delegations from Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, Turkey, Norway, Iceland and Switzerland. A delegation of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, led by its president Milan Štěch, as well as a delegation of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, led by its speaker Radek Vondráček attended the conference. The future of the European Union and European security and defence were the main topics discussed at the event.
