All persons who do not have permanent or temporary residence in the Czech Republic or who do not work there are obliged to endure the control of symptoms of infectious diseases after entering the Czech Republic.

The measure applies mainly to those who have been staying in the country with a high risk of COVID-19 disease in the last 14 days before their arrival in the Czech Republic - the list of states/ risk areas is provided by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic.

If signs of an infectious disease are found, they are obliged to assist healthcare professionals in the collection of the samples. Furthermore, they are obliged to tolerate restrictions on the freedom of movement during the laboratory examination of the samples.

For foreigners with permanent or temporary residence, and those working in the Czech Republic, the obligation to report symptoms of an infectious disease to their GP immediately is still in effect, as well as the obligation to undergo a quarantine after their return from Italy.

Attention regarding traveling abroad: from 14 March 2020 effects the Government Resolution No. 194 of which the most important restrictions are:
