New measures from July 26, 2021

Rules for travel from Estonia to the Czech Republic after July 26, 2021.

Estonia is an "Orange country".

Travellers from Estonia (EU citizens or foreigners with a permanent residence permit in any EU country) can enter the Czech Republic for any reason.

However, they have to

- fill in an electronic Public Health Passenger Locator Form before crossing the Czech border

- undergo a PCR test not earlier than 72 hours before crossing the Czech border or no later than the 5th day after arrival to the Czech Republic.


These two obligations do NOT apply to a person traveling from Estonia

- younger than 6 years

- transiting through the Czech Republic in less than 12 hours

- being in special categories of international transport workers, professional athletes and artists, cross-border workers and students etc.


ONLY the obligation of filling in the above stated Public Health Passenger Locator Form apply to a person

- fully vaccinated (with at least 14 days after a second dose or, in a case of a one-dose vaccine, with at least 14 days after this dose) and holding a national certificate issued in any EU country

- recovered from Covid-19 (with a first positive result at least 11 days ago) in the last 180 days and holding a national certificate issued in any EU country.
