Czech compatriots in Georgia host Christmas concert

Czech compatriot society “Zlatá Praha” (Golden Prague) organized a Christmas concert in the Museum of Music of the Vano Sarajishvili Tbilisi State Conservatoire on 15 December 2015. Students of the Vano Sarajishvili Tbilisi State Conservatoire and their professors presented music by Czech composers Antonín Dvořák, Bedřich Smetana and Jaromír Vejvoda as well as pieces by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Frédéric Chopin.
 

In his brief speech at the opening of the concert, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Georgia Tomáš Pernický pointed out Czech Christmas traditions and customs and wished all members of the Czech compatriot society “Zlatá Praha” (Golden Prague) Merry Christmas and all the best in the year 2016.
