Exhibition “Czech UNESCO Heritage"

This year, thirty years have passed since the Convention concerning the Protection of World Cultural and Natural Heritage became binding on the Czech Republic. The Czech Republic is a country extremely rich in monuments, and in the past three decades, 15 of them have been inscribed on the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List on its territory.

On the eve of the Czechoslovak Independence Day (October 28), the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tbilisi therefore installed an exhibition “Czech UNESCO Heritage - Style is not to be written. Style is to be looked at.” including fourteen color photographs to bring these most important UNESCO monuments in the Czech Republic closer to the people of Georgia. The photographs are exhibited in front of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tbilisi at 37 Chavchavadze Avenue, where they will be on view until 17 November 2021.
