During the meeting, Director A. Turek informed about the challenges his company is facing in Georgia - transport of products from Czechia; reliability and qualification of employees; competition from cheap but lower quality products. The application of safety standards in the construction industry would help to improve the position of KOPOS quality products on the Georgian market. The Ambassador informed about the upcoming events of the Embassy in support of Czech companies (establishment of the Czech Business Platform) and offered assistance in expanding the list of potential customers.

The KOPOS company is engaged in the production of electrical installation storage material in Kolín. The best-selling products include electrical installation boxes, strips, pipes, divided protectors, window sill ducts, cable support systems. With growing demands for building safety, the company now offers systems that retain functionality in the event of a fire. The company has been operating on the Georgian market since 2010 and currently employs 9 people.
