Support of ŠKODA Electric – Elmavalmshenebeli joint project

Minister of Industry and Trade Ms. Marta Nováková visited an electric locomotives factory Elmavalmshenebeli on 13th September 2018. Elmavalmshenebeli in collaboration with ŠKODA Electric take part in the tender for supply of modern electric locomotives for Georgian Railways. ŠKODA Electric would supply the whole electric engine including the managing unit. The final assembly would take part in the Elmavalmshenebeli factory. Ms. Novakova inspected the assembly hall, factory museum and was interviewed by Georgian journalists. In her speech she pointed out to the positive aspects of the project for both Czech and Georgian sides.
