The Czech delegation was received by Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia Davit Usupashvili, held talks with Chairman of the Defence and Security Committee of the Parliament of Georgia Irakli Sesiashvili, Chairman of the Committee on European Integration of the Parliament of Georgia Levan Berdzenishvili, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Parliament of Georgia Tedo Japaridze, Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Davit Dondua, First Deputy State Minister of Georgia on  European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Archil Karaulashvili, Georgia´s Deputy Minister of Defence Besik Loladze, Secretary of the State Security and Crisis Management Council Mindia Janelidze and Head of the Georgia – Czech Republic Parliamentary Friendship Group Ivane Kighuradze.

 

During their stay in Georgia, the members of the delegation of the Committee on Defence of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and Deputy Minister of Defence Tomáš Kuchta visited the divided village of Khurvaleti located at the administrative boundary line with South Ossetia. At the same day the members of the delegation of the Committee on Defence of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic and Deputy Minister of Defence Tomáš Kuchta visited in the town of Gori the 91-year-old veteran on World War II Irakli Kandareli, who took an active part in the liberation of several Czechoslovak cities, mainly in Northern Moravia.
