Concert for trumpet and organ to mark Czech Republic´s National Day

On 28 October 2015, the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Georgia organized a concert for trumpet and organ in the Roman Catholic Church of St. Peter and Paul in Tbilisi on the occasion of the National Day of the Czech Republic. The guest of honour was spouse of the President of Georgia Maka Chichua.
At the opening of the concert, the national anthems of the Czech Republic and Georgia were sung by the Children´s Choir of the Evgeni Mikeladze Music school in Tbilisi, conducted by Badri Jimsheleishvili. In the completely filled church, Czech trumpeter Jan Verner and Czech organist Martin Maxmilian Kaiser then performed compositions by Jeremiah Clarke, Domenico Zipoli, Georg Philipp Telemann, Johann Pachelbel, Pavel Josef Vejvanovský, Josef Ferdinand Norbert Seger, Franz Liszt, Camille Saint-Säens, Antonín Dvořák, Bedřich Antonín Wiedermann and Marc-Antoine Charpentier.
The concert met with extraordinary success; Czech trumpeter Jan Verner and Czech organist Martin Maxmilian Kaiser received a standing ovation.
