On 28 October 2014, the Embassy of the Czech Republic organized a concert of Czech organ music in the Roman Catholic Church of St. Peter and Paul in Tbilisi on the occasion of the National Day of the Czech Republic.

At the opening of the concert, the national anthems of the Czech Republic and Georgia were sung by the Children´s Choir of the Evgeni Mikeladze Music School in Tbilisi, conducted by Badri Jimsheleishvili. In the completely filled church, Czech organist Martin Maxmilian Kaiser then performed compositions by František Xaver Brixi, Jan Křtitel Kuchař, Jiří Ignác Linek, Jan Evangelista Kypta, Josef Klička, Vítězslav Novák and Bedřich Antonín Wiedermann. At the conclusion of the concert, the organist played his improvisation on Chorale “St. Wenceslas”. The concert provided Georgian and international audience with a unique opportunity to get acquainted with Czech organ music; concerts of organ music being very rare in Georgia where only three pipe organs are located in the whole of the country.
