The ceremony was opened by Czech Ambassador Tomáš Pernický. Chairman Harold Šmalcel depicted history of Golden Prague association and then read a letter of congratulations by the very first Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Georgia Jiří Nekvasil. Ambassador Pernický then conveyed salutations and congratulations on the 20^th anniversary of Golden Prague association from his predecessors, Czech Ambassadors to Georgia Jozef Vrabec and Ivan Jestřáb.

 

A short piano concert concluded the formal part of the ceremony and after that the guests, among them representatives of other ethnic minorities living in Georgia, were offered Czech goulash and beer as well as a glass of Georgian wine.
