Exhibition „Withdrawal of Soviet troops from Czechoslovakia“ opens in Tbilisi

On 19 April 2016, an exhibition of photographs to mark the 25th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Czechoslovaia was opened in the presence of the author, Czech photographer Karel Cudlín. Ambassador of the Czech Republic Tomáš Pernický and General Director of the Georgian National Museum David Lortkipanidze opened the exhibition in the Museum of Soviet Occupation of the Georgian National Museum.
The exhibition was organized by the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Georgia together with the Georgian National Museum. Among the guests at the opening were Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Nodar Javakhishvili, Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia David Dondua, Chairman of the Defence And Security Committee of the Parliament of Georgia Irakli Sesiashvili, Chief of General Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces major general Vakhtang Kapanadze, Deputy of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara Svetlana Kudba, and numerous other representatives of Georgian political and cultural circles as well as members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Georgia.
The exhibition is open until 1 May 2016.
