President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili and Defence Minister of the Czech Republic Martin Stropnický unveiled a statue of Václav Havel in Tbilisi

On 22 June 2017, President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili and Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic Martin Stropnický, who is on an official visit to Georgia, unveiled a statue of former President of Czechoslovakia and Czech Republic Václav Havel at the Václav Havel´s Park in Vake district of Tbilisi. The statue was unveiled also by Deputy Mayor of Tbilisi Nina Khatiskatsi and Chairman of Tbilisi City Municipal Assembly Georgi Alibegashvili.
 

Present at the unveiling ceremony was State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, State Minister of Georgia for European and Euro Atlantic issues Victor Dolidze, diplomatic corps, members of Czech compatriot societies and Czechs and Slovaks living in Georgia.
