Reception to mark Czech Republic´s National Holiday – Czech Statehood Day

On 28 September 2017, a reception to mark the National Day of the Czech Republic, Day of Czech Statehood, took place at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Tbilisi. The Georgian Government was represented at the event by Minister of Justice of Georgia Mrs. Thea Tsulukiani.

 

Besides Justice Minister Mrs. Thea Tsulukiani, the reception was attended by members of the Parliament of Georgia, representatives of the Diplomatic Corps, representatives of Georgian Regions, trade companies, Czech compatriots as well as representatives of Georgian cultural circles. The guests could taste Kozel beer produced in Georgia in Natakhtari brewery and specialities of Czech cuisine prepared by students from Žamberk in Pardubice Region and by the staff of the Embassy. 

At the opening of the event, the national anthems of the Czech Republic and Georgia were sung with great emotional power by the Children´s Choir of the Evgeni Mikeladze Music School in Tbilisi, conducted by Badri Jimsheleishvili.
