A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Georgian Partner Foundation, Masaryk Cancer Institute of the Czech Republic and Universal medical centre of Georgia.

The purpose of the document is to promote and develop cooperation and mutual assistance in the field of cancer prevention, treatment and control.
 

The Memorandum provides for the organization of exchange programs, seminars, short-term and long-term training programs for students and health workers, holding joint conferences, symposiums and other scientific meetings on cancer issues, sharing experiences and organizing screening programs.

The delegation of Partnership Fund, headed by Executive Director David Saganelidze, is in the Czech Republic on a business visit. The Georgian delegation holds meetings with representatives of Czech government and business sector.
