Booking appointments for visa applications and stays

Booking an appointment to apply for a visa or stay is only possible via email. The following rules apply.

The email must be written in Czech, English or Russian.

Appointments are scheduled in order of incoming emails that have complete information and meet the requirements.

Only one applicant can be registered by one email.

The term granted for the submission of the application is fixed. If the applicant fails to appear (within 15 minutes), appears without the necessary documents or cancels the deadline, he/she must request a new appointment.

Email content requirements:

Subject of the email:

name, surname + passport number

Email body:

name, surname

date of birth

passport number

purpose of stay / type of visa requested

contact information - email, phone

Email attachment (PDF or JPG):

copy of the passport page with personal details

copy of the document confirming the purpose of the stay

copy of vaccination certificate - for short-term (Schengen) visas

Please note that in order to ensure the functionality of the system for all applicants, attempts to send registrations in bulk using software tools may be interpreted as spam by the mzv.cz domain's anti-spam security system, as a result of which such registrations will not be taken into account.
