Czech Republic helps disabled children in Iran

Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Tehran has visited the center for disabled children, for which the Czech embassy in Tehran arranged the purchase of new equipment in the scope of the Czech
Development Aid.

On November 1, 2022, H. E. Josef Rychtar, Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Tehran, has visited a center for children with mental and physical disabilities in Northern Tehran run by Bachehaye Aseman Kamran. This year the center has purchased new equipment through a so-called Small Scale Project financed by the Czech Development Aid programme.

Thanks to the financial assistance, Bachehaye Aseman has bought for example 20 new beds, child walkers, several types of rehabilitation equipment, electronic devices needed for feeding children with severe physical disabilities, and a fridge used for stocking medicine.
