Iranian success at architecture competition INSPIRELI AWARDS 2016

Iranian student won the 3rd place of the biggest architect competition in the world

Somayeh Ravanshadnia, a talented student of architecture at the Islamic Azad University in Tehran has succeeded in a hotly contested second annual international competition for young and talented architects and designers INSPIRELI AWARDS 2016 winning the third place. INSPIRELI AWARDS has become one of the most successful competitions to support young architects and designers around the world and was originally initiated by the first Czech president Vaclav Havel and renowned architect Bořek Šípek. This year’s competition was attended by more than 1000 talented architects and designers from 99 countries and 300 universities. The first place was awarded to Italian architect Giacomo Garyiano and the second place went to Daiki Watanabe from Japan. The INSPIRELI AWARDS competition is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic.
